Affiliate Summit East 2013 Scholarship Program

Have you considered attending an Affiliate Summit, but just haven’t been able to find the funds in your fledgling affiliate business? Well, Missy and Shawn of Affiliate Summit have the solution for up to 50 first time attendees!

The Affiliate Summit Pay It Forward Scholarship program was created with the goal of making the vital education and networking experience of Affiliate Summit available to affiliates who might not otherwise be able to attend.

Complete the online application and answer one of their 3 short essay questions in 300 words or less. (Don’t worry, the questions are super easy and answers have to be 300 words or less!) The Affiliate Summit Advisory Board will vote on the applications and winners will receive a VIP Pass to Affiliate Summit East 2013 in Philadelphia.

Winners of the scholarships will be notified by Monday, June 17, 2013, but the deadline to enter is Friday, June 7, 2013, so apply today.

New Media Expo begins January 6th

It’s here! It’s here! NMX is finally here! What does this mean for you as an affiliate? Why, more commission opportunities of course!

Over the next couple of days, there will be a -lot- of activity so here are the steps you need to take to maximize your earnings:

  • Last Minute Tickets – There are -always- last minute attendees. Every year, an affiliate has made commission on a conference ticket purchase on the last day of the show. It’s never too late to promote for these last minute folks, plus you’ll get your cookie set for next year to boot. (Don’t forget, we have a 365 day cookie!)
  • Live Show Updates – If you’re attending the show and live blogging, sharing updates from sessions or even writing summaries from your hotel room before hitting the networking parties, remember to include your affiliate link every time:

    Just copy, paste and you’re all set to go. You can even use it with your favorite URL shortener! Your followers and readers will click your links and set that important cookie for next year or even end up subscribing to…

  • New Media University – This educational endeavor is HUGE and allows you to upsell ALL YEAR ROUND. The NMXU membership has two levels: Free and Premium.

    The free version is available to NMXU members, offers valuable educational sessions from past speakers, and rotating content of about 20-30 sessions at a time.

    The Premium Membership offers exclusive content from NMX Las Vegas 2013 (including sessions from over 200 NMX and BusinessNext speakers starting immediately after the show) AND has an affiliate commission of 33%, just like the current Virtual Tickets. Also, visitors who click your affiliate link set your affiliate cookie for future events and upgrades!

  • Post Show Updates – After all is said and done, be sure to include your affiliate links and banners in your wrap-up posts. There are always folks who love to get their tickets early!
