California Bill AB 178

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the latest affiliate legislation out there, you really should. California Bill AB 178 was introduced by Assembly members Nancy Skinner and Charles Calderon and uses affiliates as a basis to create nexus for out of state businesses.

As with the situation in New York, there is high expectation that if this passes, many out of state merchants will simply remove California affiliates from their affiliate programs altogether.
