One of the best conferences I’ve attended so far this year was Affiliate Management Days in San Francisco in March. I had the pleasure of speaking at the conference about the advantages and disadvantages of managing affiliate programs in-house versus hiring an outside OPM agency, (if you are a merchant weighing your options regarding in-house or outsourcing, contact me. As someone who has been both an in-house manager and an OPM, I’d love to help you explore the topic.) however I was also extremely happy with the caliber of the other speakers and content at this particular conference. Geno Prussakov has meticulously crafted the AMDays conference to focus solely on affiliate management topics and issues and is well worth the investment to attend.
If you are interested in attending AMDays in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in October, I would encourage you to register today. The Early Bird rate is ending this Friday, September 7th and by registering now, you’ll save $500. That’s a -significant- savings that you don’t want to miss out on.
Also, our very own Daniel Feinberg will be speaking at Affiliate Management Days as well. His session, “Stop Managing Like A Merchant, and Manage Like an Affiliate”, is on Wednesday, October 10th at 2pm. If you’re an affiliate manager that struggles with poor affiliate activation and response to communications, you’re not going to want to miss his session. Attendees will learn what affiliates really want from affiliate managers, and how to really connect with your affiliates and build a profitable relationship.
If you have any questions about the conference, let me know!
~Karen
