FFFC Details – Marketing Copy For Your Use

FanDuel, the daily fantasy sports site, is having a $50,000 NFL fantasy football championship this fall. Some of you are probably thinking, what the heck is FanDuel? And most of you are probably thinking “what is daily fantasy sports?” Well, FanDuel is a site that does only single-day (baseball, hockey and basketball) or single week fantasy contests, either head-to-head or in leagues of 5 to 10 players. The long and short of it is – you don’t have to wait a full season to collect your winnings. We also simplify the process of drafting your team – there’s no live draft to schedule. Picking your team is also easy – no need for awkward live drafts, just choose the game you want to enter and select your team on your own time and you are in!

Ok, great, but what about this $50,000 NFL fantasy football championship? The contest operates the same way as FanDuel’s daily league games – it’s multiple people facing off in a one weekend contest. However, the difference with the NFL fantasy football championship is that there’s no limit to how many people can enter the contest. It’s basically a league game that has no limit. So there could be 57 people in the NFL contest game during Week 1. Or 200 or 2000.

The contest consists of the first 10 weeks of the NFL season and you can play as many or as few of those weeks as you want to. The top scorer in each weekly FFFC qualifying game will advance to the finals (there are plenty of cash bonuses for the runner-ups, by the way). The overall winners for each of those 10 weeks are then headed on an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, where they’ll have the chance to vie for $40,000 on Dec. 5th. Yep, on Dec. 5th, in one last league game, the 10 overall winners will square off. The winner pockets $25,000, second place gets $10,000 and third place $5,000. Not too shabby for a $10 entry fee.

So check it out and see if you can make it to Vegas and take home $25,000. (link with your affiliate link)

Using the FanDuel “API Feed” Reporting Tool to view inactive players

One of the most popular questions we are asked is “How can I see the players that I have referred who haven’t become an active player yet?”  The video above shows affiliate partners how they can use the “API Feed” reporting tool included in their affiliate dashboard.   If you have any issues or any questions, please get in touch.

New “League Play” feature at FanDuel ups the ante for players and affiliates

GTO client FanDuel.com already had a really cool product on it’s hands with a social media friendly, daily fantasy sports game that you could play against a single player, for real money.   As of Thursday, it’s now possible for players to compete in a “league” setting – competing with either 4 or 9 additional players for added stakes.  Currently “league games” are available in 5 and 10 player options.   For example, In a $5-  5 player league the winner of the single day game would win $22.50, while the winner in a $10 – 10 player league would win $90.   Not bad for a single day of Fantasy baseball or basketball.

The new “league play” option will drive more player activity and thus more revenue for affiliates.

It’s baseball season at FanDuel.com!

April is upon us and for sports fans, that means one thing: baseball season!

GTO Management client FanDuel.com is a great fit for sites with a sports focus, “guy sites”, or sites that attract an audience that is involved in playing online poker or sports betting. FanDuel recently surveyed their players and found that over 90% of their audience actively played poker online, bet on sports online, or played in online casino.

So what is FanDuel?

FanDuel is a new kind of Fantasy Sports game. Like other fantasy games, you get to select a team and play either against another single player or a league of players. Unlike traditional fantasy gaming, FanDuel is all about instant gratification. It’s been described as “fantasy gaming for the ADD generation” because baseball, basketball and hockey games all take place over a single day of play. A team is drafted, the players face off and the winner is crowned and earns their winnings (in real money) all within 24 hours or less. Players can even play multiple concurrent games if they choose to maximize their earnings.

As of today (9 games into the season) FanDuel’s top player has won over $5,000 playing FanDuel Fantasy baseball – imagine if you’d referred him :)

Here are some details of the FanDuel.com partner program:

  • Pays commissions of 25-35% of net revenue generated over first year of play
  • Recurring commissions – the more your referrals play – the more you earn.
  • Runs on gaming industry trusted Income Access platform
  • Payment via Paypal, check or wire
  • Legal in the United States as a “skill game”
  • Great alternative for gaming affiliates looking for “US Friendly” games.

We’ll be kicking off some really fun initiatives as the season heats up, including some affiliate leagues as well as contests and promotions with prizes being awarded at Affiliate Summit East in August.
