GuardianGlo Affiliate Program – Why the prominent phone order number?

I figured I’d address this question before it came up from the affiliates or potential affiliates as it’s a legitimate question:

Q: Hey Wade – why the big toll free number for ordering on the GuardianGlo page? Haven’t you said in the past that this is bad for affiliates?

A: The answer is simple – (and good for the affiliates.)   The target audience for this product is one that is not the most comfortable with online shopping and might be happier ordering over the phone. Higher comfort level equals more orders and more commissions.

Q: How are we going to match affiliates up with orders placed on the phone?

A: We’ve integrated the Shareasale provided code that displays the ID of the affiliate who sent the click in the bright green bar below the toll free number. Our call center attendants have been trained to request this information.

We’ll update phone orders into the system frequently to help the affiliates who are aggressively promoting GuardianGlo keep up to date on their effectiveness.

We feel that this solution will give the best possible outcome for our affiliates, GuardianGlo and their customers. A win-win-win.
